Welcome to the debut episode of The Score, a new monthly podcast presented by Jamie White of Overture. It features conversations with law firm leaders and innovators about the past, present and future of their firms, plus a real insight into their unique take on the industry.

Episode one features not one but two guests, brought together via video-conference – Mat Heywood, senior partner, and James Hacking, COO, from Mantle Law. Launched in lockdown 2020, the firm brings the NewLaw model to the middle-east, to an immediate and overwhelmingly-encouraging response of clients and peers.

Mat, a seasoned litigator, has a varied career in private practice behind him, working for the likes of Osborne Clarke, Pinsent Masons and Clyde and Co. He’s joined by James Hacking, COO of Mantle and the Managing Partner of Kindleworth, a specialist business that launches and manages bold new law firms.
