So our relationship with leading technology, media and brands law firm Wiggin over nearly ten years has enabled us to deliver outstanding and ground-breaking work via our dedicated teams and integrated structure.

Our relationship began by working with the business development, marketing and communications teams to refresh the brand to support the changing needs of both clients and brand.

This led to an on-going support role, with a retained design team deployed to work on all pitch and marketing collateral for the firm, which consequently developed into the integrated working model we have today.Day-to-day, we work together with them as its outsourced BD and brand partner.

We have developed class-leading bids for some of the most progressive businesses in the film, tv, music and publishing businesses. Most recently we’ve worked closely with the management team to define firm-wide messaging to support the firm’s new strategic objectives, with a new website to match.

Wynterhill

Wynterhill is a law firm dedicated to acting for insurance policyholders, and just that.

Founder partners, Colin Wynter QC and Stuart Hill, are recognised insurance and reinsurance specialists. Colin is also a past winner of the ‘Insurance QC of the Year’ plaudit awarded by the Chambers & Partners Directory of the Legal Profession.

A partnership comprising such an impressive provenance has to be supported with a brand that felt both established yet contemporary, forging a new benchmark amongst competitors in the process.

Overture London worked with the founders to develop the firm’s strategic vision, corporate identity, launch strategy and market engagement.

Wedlake Bell

Wedlake Bell is a contemporary London law firm, rooted in tradition with a lasting legacy of client service since 1780.

Its lead practices in high-end private client, business services, dispute resolution and real estate support a range of high-growth sectors and thriving service lines.

The firm has always been progressive its thinking and its management, and is well-regarded by clients and universally respected by peers. Martin Arnold, Managing Partner, trained at the firm in 1987. His view was that the firm’s identity and reputation needed to better reflect its poise and pace.

A move to a contemporary, open-plan headquarters seems like the perfect opportunity to reinvigorate the strategy and reimagine the identity of the firm in one bold step.

We worked with Martin and his leadership team to help build and communicate a firm-wide strategy, examining each objective in turn to consider service, operations, culture and reputation. The result is a firm with a renewed confidence, a world-class brand and a clear plan for the future.

Brecher

Brecher began life as a boutique law firm dealing in luxury residential and commercial property work. Over the years, it has grown in scope, attracting top practitioners from the world of property finance, corporate, insolvency and reconstruction planning, construction and litigation.

But it remains at heart a boutique firm, providing a bespoke service that its clients simply cannot obtain from the firm’s larger competitors.

Our public relations team is working with Brecher on all aspects of its external communications efforts, building profile for the firm and its lawyers in the media outlets that matter most.

Our work for Brecher began as they approached their 20th anniversary, which gave the firm an opportunity to tell a story about what about the firm changed since its founding, and what has remained constant.

Travers Smith

One of the City’s leading corporate law firms, Travers Smith, asked us to distill an innovative strategy into a brand new identity.

Our view was that the firm’s distinctiveness stemmed from a combination of sector insight, enduring relationships and their ability to translate the complexities of law into practical, actionable advice and provide clients with genuine commercial opportunities.

We suggested that they view the world as an entrepreneur would, assessing risk from a commercial perspective, resisting groupthink and conventional wisdom. The brand identity we developed encompassed precisely this and knitted in perfectly with their vision for the future.

We also worked on a programme for trainees to attract distinctive thinkers who wanted to be challenged, stretched by top-quality work and inspired by leading lawyers in their fields.

Olswang

One of the City’s leading corporate law firms, Travers Smith, asked us to distill an innovative strategy into a brand new identity.

Our view was that the firm’s distinctiveness stemmed from a combination of sector insight, enduring relationships and their ability to translate the complexities of law into practical, actionable advice and provide clients with genuine commercial opportunities.

While our entree to the firm was to deliver a new identity, the strong bonds we built with the executive team meant that post-launch, we worked with the firm’s CEO and COO to develop a new offering which consolidated advice on commercial strategy, PR, BD and marketing.

This was delivered by a revolutionary, fully-insourced PR and communications function, consisting of a team of four full time consultants, supported by extra resources if and when necessary. The firm – and Nabarro – merged with CMS Cameron McKenna in 2017.
