For decades, Strosberg Winfield Sasso (SWS) has been one of Canada’s leading class action specialists and has devised and settled many of the country’s most complex class actions, resulting in the recovery of billions of dollars of damages. SWS approached us to help them navigate a rebranding exercise which also incorporated renaming their firm. We discovered that their stock-in-trade as a firm is ideas and action; not just seeing potential for claims where the law intersects with economics, markets and politics, but being able to turn these thoughts into successful class actions.
We used this as the springboard for creating a new brand which translated this concept into “ideas made real”; tackling the combination of intellectual acuity with toughness and rigour. Across the SWS brand and the website we created – which also acts as the hub for the class actions – this seeming contradiction is explored and explained in an innovative and inspirational way. It’s also a great example of our global work. That we were the first and only choice of a Canadian law firm is a testament to both our reputation and our ability to work with innovators wherever in the world they’re based.
