COMBAR

We were pleased and proud to be asked to help produce a careers video for COMBAR to promote diversity at the commercial bar. The video features interviews with commercial barristers about their routes to the bar and current practice and provides practical insights and experiences from their own route to the bar and the pupillage process, all the way through to the nature of their practices now and how they manage their own work/life balance. You can see the whole video on the COMBAR website here.

Fountain Court Chambers

We have worked with the leading commercial set Fountain Court Chambers for many years and are extremely proud of the strength and depth our relationships with the clerks, practice management and the barristers there.

Our relationship began with a complex client-listening research project with London’s leading litigation teams and has extended into every aspect of the set’s brand marketing. We relish and share their appetite to break new ground and have spent the last decade supporting and collaborating with them across a surprisingly broad range of initiatives.

We broke new ground for the set by making a promotional video for them which talked about their experience and expertise in the Cyber Fraud area.

Most recently, we collaborated on what we believe to be the first pupillage attraction video for any set, have been
supporting the opening of their chambers in Singapore and have almost completed our second website for them.

Travers Smith

One of the City’s leading corporate law firms, Travers Smith, asked us to distill an innovative strategy into a brand new identity.

Our view was that the firm’s distinctiveness stemmed from a combination of sector insight, enduring relationships and their ability to translate the complexities of law into practical, actionable advice and provide clients with genuine commercial opportunities.

We suggested that they view the world as an entrepreneur would, assessing risk from a commercial perspective, resisting groupthink and conventional wisdom. The brand identity we developed encompassed precisely this and knitted in perfectly with their vision for the future.

We also worked on a programme for trainees to attract distinctive thinkers who wanted to be challenged, stretched by top-quality work and inspired by leading lawyers in their fields.

Olswang

One of the City’s leading corporate law firms, Travers Smith, asked us to distill an innovative strategy into a brand new identity.

Our view was that the firm’s distinctiveness stemmed from a combination of sector insight, enduring relationships and their ability to translate the complexities of law into practical, actionable advice and provide clients with genuine commercial opportunities.

While our entree to the firm was to deliver a new identity, the strong bonds we built with the executive team meant that post-launch, we worked with the firm’s CEO and COO to develop a new offering which consolidated advice on commercial strategy, PR, BD and marketing.

This was delivered by a revolutionary, fully-insourced PR and communications function, consisting of a team of four full time consultants, supported by extra resources if and when necessary. The firm – and Nabarro – merged with CMS Cameron McKenna in 2017.
